Nataly’s Senior Session

Michelle got in touch with me and wanted photos of her daughter Nataly who is a High School senior.  I had never done a senior session but it seemed like a fun opportunity to get to know Michelle and her daughter and explore a new place.  We met in Palos Verdes and went on the hunt for wild flowers.  To our dismay a local informed us that we missed the wild flower show by about two weeks.  We were all sad but still found PV to be pretty spectacular scenery.

We all had a good time taking photographs and hiking along the trails (and seeing cute little wild bunnies!). I was able to get to know Nataly and her BFF in the hour we spent together (which included getting lost on the trail). They were really awesome young women and more stylish and confident than I remember ever being at that age. I also learned that Senioritis still a thing and the struggle is real.

Our session ended on a beautiful golf course, watching the sunset over the Pacific. I’d say the day was a win :)

Stephanie & Paul - A Sunny April Wedding

Stephanie and Paul met the way many young people do in Los Angeles, at a whiskey bar.  It took a while for Paul to get Stephanie’s attention, but once they started dating, the adventures began.  They’ve lived together in different cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego!  They wanted an intimate wedding with all of their loved ones, so they decided to throw a small wedding close to their home in San Marcos.  It was a beautiful and sunny spring day when they got married.   The wedding took place right by a nice lake.  I was very impressed with how beautiful the set up for this wedding was.  The florals were absolutely gorgeous.  I loved the altar design. Everything fit together perfectly.  I wish Stephanie and Paul the absolute best!  I can tell just by hanging out with them on their wedding day that they’re going to live happily ever after. :)
